『2014|07|25|-|2014|08|15』Goodbye Berlin!

Well when you're reading this I'll be long gone. I'll be in the plane from London to Tokyo if everything goes fine.

While I'm super excited for all of this. I'm also really scared and kinda panicking. I hate packing up my stuff and I always have the feeling I left something important even when I have everything with me.

Plus I had to fill out some letters of authorization for the case of universities want to accept me and set me a date to do the enrollment. Since I don't know how long the deadline will be I gave my parents the authorization to do the enrollment process for me.
It was a lot of paperwork. So annoying. >_>

I'll hope I'll finish packing my purse for the flight in some minutes and that it'll go fast with the data transfer, because I'm transferring a few DVDs on to my MacBook to watch them on the flight. ^^"

My first flight, from Berlin to London, will start at 7:00am and I'll be there around 8:00am if everything goes like scheduled. I have four and a half hours to spend there. So I hope that it's enough time to get to the right gate without any problems.

My next flight, from London to Tokyo, will be at 1:30pm and I'll hopefully arrive on the 26th August around 9:10am in Tokyo.

I really hope I can handle this all alone. XD I'm scared. It's such a different country and I have to find the bus all alone which will bring me to Kichijouji were Lulu will pick me up. This bus drive should be something around two hours. I really hope that I will get this right. But Lulu already told me that the people there are good at english and that they will know where I want to go. And since Kichijouji is the last stop I shouldn't be able to miss it.

The funny thing is that I'll be only two days in Tokyo and we already leave for Akita to stay there three days. After we're back we actually have only one day in Tokyo again and than leave for another four or five days to Fuji. I'm already sooo excited! ^^

After we're back again we will stay in Tokyo and I don't really know what she planed for me. I only know that we're going to see fireworks in the evening when I arrive there.

So let's hope it'll be an awesome three weeks trip full of sightseeing traveling and shopping. XD

With this I say goodbye to all of you for the upcoming three weeks. I have three more post scheduled, but nothing really special. Stay tuned and check it out if you like. ^^
I'll be writing about my Japan trip as soon as I make it home safely and find the time to write everything down. I'll try and pre-write everything and to actually sort my pics right from the beginning. Let's hope I'll can do this as I plan on doing it.

Stay safe and healthy and see you in three weeks! ^o^

『books - T5W』Top Books You Wished You Read Earlier

That's a nice question. But let me think first...

I guess I'll start this one with the Ruby Red trilogy by Kerstin Gier. Since I mostly read english books I never came across it until a german BookTuber spoke about it and I had to read it. It was such a cute read and I knew I had to check out german books as well again.

  • Rubinrot (Ruby Red)
  • Saphierblau (Sapphire Blue)
  • Smaragdgrün (Emerald Green)
I think I also include the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth. I like all of the books a lot and I never expected to be so fond of dystopian books.
  • Divergent
  • Insurgent
  • Allegiant

And for the end I just say City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare. XD Just because it was the perfect ending.
  • City of Heavenly Fire

『books - T5W』Top Cover Buys (Books you bought solely for the cover)

This is a super hard question, because I try to not buy books by their cover. It's disturbing to do it. XD" I like to look at a book and then when I decided to pick it up I first read the short text at the back, if this sounds promising I start reading the first few pages. So I guess I don't really have cover buys. But I can list a few where the cover made me want to look into the book. XP

Starting off with the Shatter Me series buy Tahereh Mafi. These covers are just too pretty. *^*

  • Shatter Me
  • Unravel Me
  • Ignite Me
I guess that The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern is also a kind of cover buy. It is just so pretty and even I had to get it in hardback, because I wanted the black edges around the pages.
  • The Night Circus
Let me think of another one...

.
.
.

...I can't think of another one. XD"

『books - T5W』Top 5 Books You Read So Far This Year (2014)

This is such a hard question. XD" Well, I decided for five of them and I'll put them here in no particular order, except reading order.

Divergent - Veronica Roth
I remember it well, I started reading this series, because I saw a lot of recommendations on booktube for it and I finally was able to start intensive reading again.
I really liked this book a lot, especially that it was so different from all the stuff I read before. I think I never picked up dystopian books myself and was only forced to read some at school.
I liked the world building, the characters and how it was so exciting to read about all of this.

Insurgent - Veronica Roth
Which is leading to the next book in this trilogy. I also really liked the second one a lot. I liked how the characters developed and how the story went on. It was still super exciting to read and I couldn't stop turning the pages.

Allegiant - Veronica Roth
Well, I know a lot have their problems with this one. And I have to say I understand why, but on the other hand, I really liked it as well. I know my sister thought it was super boring, and to be honest I think it should have been titled another way, but all in all I liked it. I actually kind of expected it to be like that and the ending, no matter if you liked it or not, I think was perfect. To be honest the epilogue was a bit too much,  but all in all this could have be an ending from me.

Unravel Me - Tahereh Mafi
I liked this one a lot as well. New trilogy, dystopian as well and a lot of hype around it. To be honest I didn't really like the first book, but since I already owned all of them I decided to give this one a try. it was good that I didn't abandon it. This book was action packed and a lot of things went in kind of different directions as expected. I still think that the main character is kind of annoying, but all in all this was a really good read.

City of Heavenly Fire - Cassandra Clare
Let's get to the last book of the party. I never expected it to be this awesome and good. I really didn't. I liked the first three in this series, but with the fourth everything went wrong. I really hated that and the fifth was also super annoying. Both of the main characters were just so annoying that I only kept reading because of the side characters. Nevertheless I was quite excited for the release of the sixth book. And the long wait was worth it. At first I was a bit confused, because the prologue started out with totally different characters, but after that everything was fine. It was action packed from the beginning and so fast paced I couldn't believe it. I ran through this book like no other from this series and I was enjoying it a lot. It had so many funny and good moments. And to say it, the ending was so perfect. Never before I was so glad to have an epilogue.

『20014|05|16 - 20014|05|17』A Princess' Birthday PART II

Part I

I decided to celebrate my birthday one day after my actual birthday. Since it was a saturday I knew everyone had off work and mostly time to celebrate with me. ^^

We met around 14:00pm at S Charlottenburg, because I had planned to go to JStore and do プリクラ  I LOVE プリクラ. ♥︎♥︎♥︎ Well, it came other as planed, because Riki was late. She was late, because her train wasn't scheduled as normal and so we decided, or mostly I decided to wait for her. We waited until 14:45pm and while waiting I was allowed to unwrap the first presents. ^o^

From Jetty I got another Thalia gift card, which made me so endlessly happy. Nothing's better than books and music. XD" And I also got some chocolate bar with caramel inside from the UK. ^^

And I got my beloved イチゴ Pockys from Tay. *^* Gosh, I LOVE these so much and I think everybody knows this by now. XD"

When Riki finally arrived we headed to the JStore. First we looked around a bit and than it was finally time for プリクラ ! ! ! ! !

I hadn't done it in a while and I think it's always so much fun to do it.  But it was a bit difficult to fit all four of us in there, because all of us aren't really experienced with it. XD" Well, only I and Riki did some before. So it was a bit of a mess to get all of us in the pictures.
But nevertheless it was fun as hell, especially decorating the puris. ^^ I love that. hehe

Finished with it we left and went back to the train station to get to S Hackischer Markt. I wanted to go there to get some yummy cupcakes.

It was quite a bit of a strange journey there, because the Sbahn suddenly drove onto the siding and we were still inside the train. All of us swear that no one told us beforehand, that the train would end at S Zoologischer Garten. We than had to wait five minutes to get back to the platform and change trains.

A bit later as expected we arrived at Hackischer Markt and made our way to Café Grünohr.  It's a cafe  based on the Katjes Grünohr gummis and it serves selfmade cupcakes.

We ordered our cupcakes and drinks and had a yummy cupcake party. ^^

After that I unwrapped the last presents and we cut the puris, so everyone can some of each sheet. ^^
I got Devil from a foreign Land Vol. 1 & 2 by Kaori Yuki. ^o^ Sooo happy about that, because I wanted to read that. ^^

We left quite a mess at the table. XD

Now onto some awesome pictures of the cafe all made by Riki:

the outside of the cafe

the counter with various cupcakes
It's always so hard to decide, because all of them look so yummy.

Everywhere cute and inspiring pictures and deco mirrors on the walls. ^^

The interior and the candy bar where you can buy different sorts of Katjes I ♥︎ Veggie gummis.

Some more tables and places to sit down. It's a very small cafe and mostly lives from the takeaway service. But it still has such a nice ambient and a gute interior. Everything is held in lime green and a soft pink with a touch of retro. Especially the pictures have a touch of retro to them.
I like that the cupcakes are selfmade and they even offer a wide range of beverages. A lot of juices and limo plus the typical things like coffee or tea.

I love the concept of selfmade cupcakes for takeaway and the chance to even sit down inside. It's small and cozy, but you should definitively check it out.

And lastly some derpy pictures of me and Riki. XDDD

We spend quite a while there and just chatted around loudly as always. XD The ladies are never calm, always giggling around. XD
When I got hungry again I decided it was time for the final stop and to get something real to eat. We hadn't to walk that far, because I decided we should go to eat mini pizza or even regular sized pizza. XD" It's a small pizzeria which offers a wide range of different dishes. Most of us went for mini pizza, which is by the way one of the most awesome pizzas ever. We decided to stay there to eat our dinner. And again we talked a lot and enjoyed our food. ^^

When we finally where finished we decided to take a walk to accompany Tay and Riki to the right tram. In the End me and Jetty walked back again to go home as well. ^^

I have to say I had two wonderful and fun birthday days and that I was a great idea from me to go take ぷりくら. XD"
