『2013|05|16 - 2013|05|19』Birthday time! (^o^) ♪

On thursday was my birthday, but because I had to get up later than the rest of my family I woke up alone and discovered this on the kitchen desk.

my family's presents *o*
Sadly I wasn't allowed to open them until the evening. ;^;
Since it was my birthday I brought cake to school and everyone congratulated me. It felt so strange, because I'm not that open with all of them.

Luckily I only had two lessons and could leave quite early. After the last lesson I met my mum in Spandau and we went to eat some ice cream at Florida. We decided to go out for ice cream because we didn't plan to eat cake and I had a english test the next morning.

We were lucky enough that it was a really nice, sunny and hot day. We sat in the sun and ate our ice! It was so awesome, because I wished for it to be a nice day. ^^ I ate too much ice cream and was suuuper full after that.
We decided to go get some new thin thighs for me, since they always rip so fast. While we were at the Spandau Arcaden my sister called and said that she had off early.

We met at home and my dad cam early too and he had a small surprise for me. ⎝(^o^)⎠

my birthday cake
He brought the cake! OMG! I was so flashed by it, because we said we wouldn't have cake this eaveing. And I was really sad, because a birthday without cake isn't a real birthday and I really love cake!!!

While unpacking the cake my cousin called to wish me a Happy Birthday. We talked a bit and finally it was time for cake. ^o^

While eating the cake I was allowed to unwrap my presents. *yeahy*

this is what I got from my parents

I got new Dr. Martens, these are the CEDAR limited edition. They aren't available in their web store anymore, since they are from their last collection.

I love these shoes so much!

I also got a new bracelet from Fossil and a lot of sweets plus the awesome Hello Kitty balloon.
I also love the Hello Kitty edible paper and the Star Wars tongue tattoos.

and this is what I got from my sister
My sister got me the fourth book of "The Mortal Instruments". It's just too addicting. She also gave me her kinder surprise egg figurines of the Star Wars collection. I wanted Darth Vader so bad but never got him. She gave him to me now, because she ate the chocolate eggs just for fun and not for Darth Vader
And she wanted to make fun of me and gave me her SpnogeBob pencils. XD I can't stand him. XD But I said I'll use them anyways.
And there will be another presents but it's still on it's way. She ordered me something and I'm very excited for it. ^o^

I also got a present from my friend from Austria
She sent me a package a week early so it would be here the right day and it was. It arrived within two days. It was super fast.
She git me a book it's called something like "Manual for Japan". What a funny title. XD I already flipped through it and I think it'll be awesome to ready and that I'll going to learn a bit more about that country. ^^
and one from our good friends and old neighbours
I also got a book gift card. I already know what I want to order with it. *hihi* It'll be book five of "The Mortal Instruments" series and book ten of the "Septimus Heap" series. I'm super excited now. ^^
We finished the cake and I grabbed my art things to finish the painting I had to hand in next day. How annoying is that? I wanted to have off that evening so bad. ;___; But it was still fun, because my sister watched "Germany's Next Top Model" it was so stupid, and she commented everything in a funny way. XD

When I finally finished we ate something not sweet and sat together for a while. Finally we went to bed.

Next day on friday I had off early. Normally I had to stay at school until 15:15h but I got off 13:30h. That was really good for me, because I had to clean my room and we went out eating that evening.

When I came home my mum already cleaned everything and prepared the cake for next day. We ate some leftover cake from the day before and watched a movie. After that I started cleaning my room.

We had to leave around five in the evening and we arrived there in time. We had to wait for my sister since she came from a friend and joined us at "Rosenthaler Platz".
Together we walked to Hashi はし a japanese restaurant I wanted to try out. We had sushi and some other small dishes. It was sooooo yummy I couldn't get enough from all of it. *^* Plus they serve Calpico! OMG!!!! I just love Calpico sooo~ much!!! ♥♥♥

We sat there for a while and talked a lot. It was so nice there and everything just looked so awesome, especially the ceiling, which is decorated with a lot of special chopsticks. And the toilettes are something really special, the walls are covered up with a lot of japanese newspaper pages. So funny. ^^

After that we took a stroll to Alexanderplatz and sad good bye to my sister, because she wanted to visit some friends. the rest of us decided to go for some drinks. ^^ We went to "Alexa Oase". It was just the same as last time... we had to wait an eternity to get served. But it was okay, since the weather was so nice. We sat outside and after a while we were able to order our drinks. I got a "Baby Caipirinha", which means without alcohol. haha, I know I'm old enough but I just can't stand the taste of it.
After a while it turned colder and we finished our drinks and left for home.
Next day would be a lot of stress...

Finally saturday was there and we got up quite early. I cleaned the rest of my room and my family helped to clean the rest of the house. The guests would be coming soon. ^^
In between we had breakfast and after cleaning I got dressed. I needed to hurry because Tay was already on her way here.
She's always to early, I was a bit pissed at first, because I wan't ready and I knew she would be here soon. >.< I hate to hurry!!!!!!!
When she arrived my dad went out to get her and show her the way to our home. ^^ I was nearly finished, I only had a little fight with my fringe. It didn't want to stay in place but I in the end I convinced it. XD

As expected she was the first. We sad hello and she gave me her little present. I didn't expect anything since we normally don't give presents to each other. It was a nice little surprise. ^^

it's a voucher for one bubble tea ^^
I was really happy about it, since we already planned to meet to drink something, me a bubble tea and she something from Starbucks. ^^

A short time after Jetti arrived to. I was so surprised when my phone suddenly rang. She called because she rang the doorbell and no one opened for her. XD
Like so often the stupid doorbell didn't rang...
I ran to the door to open it for her. ^^
We went to my room and I got her present as well.

Darth Vader USB drive  a tiara and good old cherry lollypops
I got the Darth Vader USB drive, because she knows how much I love him. ^^ She also put a lot of old stuff on him to remember the good old times. ^^ Haha, there were a lot of old songs we listened to on it and pictures form us. ^^ Plus the good old cherry lollypops. I can remember that I loved them as a child.  She also decided to give me a small tiara, because I mad an event on facebook to invite all of my friends for my birthday and I named it "Princess' Birthday". XD Jetti just knows how the princess is! *laughs*

Last but not least Riki arrived too. When she finally was here she also gave me here presents. ^^

a face mask, Ao no Esorcist manga volume 4, a lipstick from p2,
a nail polish from p2 and a blush from Catrice
She asked me for a small wish list so she could pick a few things. I did it last year the other way around. I think it's a good way to ask someone what you should get them for birthday, because in the end it's still a small surprise. ^o^
I really love all of these, I already tried out the lipstick and it's soooo lovely and dark. I really am in love with it. Also the nail polish, I like it a lot even though it's not as pastel as I thought. I didn't read the manga so far and I didn't try out the mask. But I'll do soon. ^o^

After everyone arrived and I unwrapped everything we had the cake and coffee/ tea. We sat there and talked a lot. It was quite fun to have all of them over.
my birthday candles
Also my sister stayed for cake and she also prepared guacamole for dinner. It was so nice of her doing it, even when she didn't stay until dinner.
In between all that Jetti got a massage of her older sister Rike if we wanted to do a "hangout". Some strange google thingy. XD I agreed to it, because I wanted to say hello to her. We didn't see us for a really long time. I also was able to see her daughter. Aww she's such a cutie!

While we were on the "hangout" my parents came back home, because they promised to help with the dinner.
We had a small barbecue with urg meat and sausages and yummy yum aubergine and zucchini for princess veggie. XD We also had tzatziki, rice salad and guacamole. It was soooo yummy and I was supper full after that. *___*

After we finished with dinner Jetti and Tay decided to leave for home. Riki decided to stay a bit longer. In the end she stayed over night. *hihi* We had a lot of fun this night. We finally watched "Fabulous Boys" with English subs. It's just sooo good. It reminds me a lot of the original version of "You're Beautiful". Also I'm super happy that it's not such a bad remake like the Japanese version. I really couldn't stand that version.
The thing that night was, that I was really tired and almost fell asleep on my chair. XD""" But we had to finish the first episode and Riki tried hard to let me stay awake. XD""" After that we hurried to bed and fell asleep immediately.

all the presents I got ^^

birthday princess ^^

The next day we had breakfast together with my sister and parents. My parents left to get some things and my sister left to visit some friends again. Riki and I just chilled and sloooooowly got dressed. We decided to walk to the UBahn station, because she wanted to go home. It was such nice weather, sunny and warm. I was a bit sad because originally I wanted to do a picnic the day before but the weather was bad and rainy. -.-"
Nevertheless we had a nice comfortable walk to the station. I went upstairs with her and waited for the train to arrive. When she left I decided to take the bus to "Alt-Tegel" to get some ice cream at Florida. Haha, yeas Florida again. XD I just love the ice there! ♥♥♥
The line was quite too long there but I still wanted the ice so I waited. ^^
After a while I got mine! *yeahy*

it's pineapple and cassis
With my ice in hand I walked home. I decided to take the way back along the water. I really love it there when the weather is nice. ^^
the lake and swans ^^

woooo the forest XD
I really like to walk this way and it only takes around 20 minutes to walk home.

back home my parents were already back and we decided to have the remaining leftovers from the day before as dinner. ^^

I had such a great birthday weekend! I was really happy to have all of them over and I was even happier that Riki stayed over night. Love you so much honey! (>ℨ<)♥

『2013|05|13 - 2013|05|15』a few stressful days

Monday was the first schoolday again. I still fealt exhausted and super tired. I didn't felt like I had a week off...

It was kinda horrible, because everyone decided to give us a lot of homework. I was really annoyed by that, because it was the week of my birthday and I hadn't that much time.

It was the following for the next two days. Everyone decided we to give us a lot of homework. The only thing I did these days was going to school and back home, doing my homework, sleeping a bit and  eating.
It wasn't fun at all. Plus I had to learn for upcoming test in German and English.

I tried to do all the homework in these few days since I wanted to have off on thursday since it was my birthday...

Yeah I didn't work out the way I wanted, but you'll read it in the next part.

『2013|05|06 - 2013|05|12』A week free of school! Part II

On thursday I met with Riki-chan. ^^ Originally we planned to go to the "Gardens of the World", but because the weather forecast said the weather shouldn't be that nice, I decided to take the pictures the day before.

We met in front of "Schönhauser Allee Arcarden" and went to eat Japanese crêpes at the "Crêpes Station" . We nearly went into the dalse direction, because I'm really bad at memorizing directions. XD"""" Luckily Riki knew the right way. ^^ Finally there we had to decide on one of these awesome crêpes. It's always so hard to decided, because most of them are stuffed with such wonderful things. *o* Normally I go for something with banana, but this time I decided on Peach Cherry Custard Cream.

my crêpe with peach & cherries.
it was sooo yumyum!!!!
Because the weather decided to be nice this day, too we were able to sot outside the cafe to eat our crêpes.
We stayed there for a while and talked. After some time passed by, some Japanese joined there as well, and it's always so funny to see how they take pictures of their food. XD" Always proofing the prejudices. ^^"" What's funny as well, is the fact that we can understand some words. It's so strange I'm not even really learning Japanese... just too much dramas and animes. XD

After we finished our crêpes and talking we decided to move places and originally went for some ice cream. We went to "Kauf dich Glücklich" (Shop Happy). Finally there we decided to take milkshakes instead of ice cream. XD

I decided on one with raspberry flavor!
sooo yummy
Because it was the day I went to cinema with my family to watch "Star Trek - Into Darkness" I needed to get home around seven. Riki and I decided to walk around a bit. In the end we walked from Schönhauser Allee to Hackischer Markt with our milkshakes. ^^
While we walked it got even sunnier and I really wondered what the weather forecast told us... it wasn't really true, because the weather was just beautiful, sunny and warm.

We passed several asian restaurants and I filled the notes app on my phone to remember all of them,  because I was planning to go out eating asian food on my birthday. ^^
Finally we arrived at Hackischer Markt, I was super exhausted and I started to realize how exhausted my legs were. Still from the day before...
We sad good bye and I decided to grab a mini pizza from Piccola Italia at Oranienburger Straße. It's a super small restaurant, with just a few places to sit. There you can get a lot of different dishes, but since I love pizza the most I decided for mini pizza with corn and bell pepper.

super yummy mini pizza

After I grabbed my pizza and a bottle of water I went to the next tram station and took the M1 to Oraninenbuger Straße and changed into the UBahn. While waiting I ate my pizza and filled me with a lot of water.

Finally home I had to discover that my parents were already home. We sat together for another 30 minutes and than my sister arrived to get us for the cinema.
Luckily we got a parking space really fast and were able to get to the cinema in time. We bought some popcorn and ice cream for my sister and me and went to take our places.
We had quite good places not to far in the back and not to far in the front, just right, almost in the middle. ^^

After a long time of commercials (how annoying is that? >A<) the film finally started and we were caught in it.

To be honest I just can't stand all the 3D hype but this time I even enjoyed the film in 3D. It was a really good movie, the story is quite the same as the old one just in the parallel universe, but who cares? XD" It still was suuuuper exciting and blasting and even super funny. My sister and I laughed all the time. XD We were kinda the only ones who laughed... so weird! But to get back to the 3D, I really like it this time, it has proper 3D effects and not just tried to be 3D. I often felt like being on the Enterprise myself or that I flew through the universe. Sometimes I even felt like some remaining pieces of the destroyed planets would hit me. This time I felt like I was right in the middle of the movie, because of the 3D. I think it was the first time I was able to enjoy a 3D film. ^o^

On friday everyone had to go to work except me! I decided to sleep long because I was super exhausted from the last two days. I did really nothing, except laying in bed. In the evening I went to get groceries with my mum, so I could be outside a bit. But I really didn't feel that good that day. I think I just stayed too long in the sun the days before and drank too little. Typical me... >.>

The next day my parents and I decided to go shopping in Steglitz. First we went to "Globetrotter" to get some new outdoor clothes for my mum for my parents vacation. ^^ After staying there just too long we went to the "Schloss Center" to get to "Conrad". While my parents look for a small bag for their navigation system I looked around and found a clear case for my 3GS. I was super happy about it, because I plan to decorate it in my summer holidays. ^o^ I just need to order deco pieces. XD

Finally finished there we went to "Boulevard Berlin" which is near. While walking there we had yummy ice cream from "Eis Da Dalt".
Finally we arrived at "Boulevard Berlin" and first we headed to "Hollister" because my mum wanted to show it to my dad. XD I wish it wouldn't be that expensive there, because even I like some of their clothes. Especially some of their summer dresses.
After that we went to "New Yorker" an I got a few new tops. ^^

I just love cross prints

I really like this one, it's similar to the black one I have
just with longer sleeves and no hole in the back

I really love it
It's one of the loose fit t-shirts

and I really love the lace one too
the color is more a light cream but turned out to look
light pink, because of photoshop XD"

After that we left for home, because we were super exhausted and tired. i couldn't walk properly anymore, because my legs felt kinda numb and my feet were exhausted...
I just walked to much distance in to many days in a short time. -.-"

Back home my sister already waited for us and we stared to make dinner. ^p^

『2013|05|06 - 2013|05|12』A week free of school! Part I

On 6th May was my only school day for this week. That was so awesome. We had off on 7th and 8th May because of a-level exams and 9th and 10th May because of Ascension Day, which was actually on 9th May.

Monday was a short day for me, I just had school, went a bit shopping after school and did some homework, because I knew what I had planed on my days off.

Next day I did all my exercises and homework we had to do because the school gave us off. XD So stupid and annoying. I did really nothing special that day. >.>

On wednesday I finally did something fun, still for school, but it was awesome and super exhausting. ^^ I went to "Gärten der Welt" (Gardens of the World) to take pictures for my article which I'm writing for my schools online magazine. ^^
I woke up around ten o'clock but was suuuper tired and exhausted and suuuper lazy. -.-" I lay down again and just dozed off a bit.
Finally I got up and slowly .... veeeryy sloowlyyy got ready to leave. I had breakfast, packed my hand bag, looked up the way again and printed out the beginning of my article.

I decided that it was time to leave and went to get my bike. I rode it to the UBahn station and entered the UBahn. It was so hot and sunny outside. I was a bit shocked, because I really did not expect such nice weather. XD

I had a long way there and started to hate me for being so lazy the whole morning, because every train I  had to take was full with people. Not the normal crowd, it was just too crowded. I really hate that. But luckily the longer it took most people left the train and I was able to sit and relax again.

Finally I arrived at the gardens and went in. And again... a lot of people... >.> and again I asked myself why I didn't left earlier. But to be honest, I should had expected so many people in the gardens, because it was so wonderful outside that day. ^^

I couldn't see right, because of the sun XD"""
I love the gardens so much, I didn't know them for a really long time, but since I know they exist I always have to go there. That was the reason why I decided to write about them. ^^

The "Gardens of the World" is like a big park with a lot of themed gardens. I really love it there, especially because they have a Japanese Garden, Chinese Garden and a Korean Garden there. ^^

I'm going to show you just a few photos, because I took over 700 and I'm not really through them all until know. I hate to decide which to use for the article. ;^; It's so hard to decide. XD"
I know, it sounds quite a lot, but I needed to take so many, because 1st I nearly couldn't see anything on the display of my camera, because it was so sunny and 2nd because I didn't only photograph the themed gardens but also the rest of the park. ^^

Okay, let's look at some photos:

so many of them ^^
I really love that picture, it screams summer so much! ^^

running water in the Oriental Garden - Hall of Receptions

the Italian Renaissance Garden - Giardino della Bobolina
It was so scary on my way to the Renaissance Garden, because suddenly something crashed really loud behind me. First I thought something crashed or fell down, but when I turned around to take a look I was shocked to see a super dark sky behind me. It was so shocking, because in front of me it still was super sunny and nice looking, but behind me it was super scary. After discovering that it got super dark, I realized that it was thunder crashing what I heard and I hurried to the Renaissance Garden, because I was in an open spot with nothing to hide under or to keep me safe if it starts raining and thunder storming.

Luckily I reached the garden before it started and in the end I thought it was a joke. I heard the thunder two more times crashing and it got even a bit darker but nothing really happened. I was so lucky that there was only some drizzle rain falling down.
After it finished I got a call from my dad, he asked me if everything was okay, because of the thunder storm. You have to know that my dad works like ten minutes from the "Gardens of the World". He told me that it wasn't only thunder storming but also hailing where he was.

I was really lucky with just the drizzle. ^^
I decided to wait a bit longer and sat down on a bench to eat something. After that little break I went around the garden, took a few photos and continuded to the Chinese Garden. ^^

entering the Chinese Garden - Garden of the Reclaimed Moon ^^

I really like the water things in the Chinese Garden
in front of the symbols. ^^

I love this so much. It's so authentic.

I love the Chinese Garden so much, it's the biggest of all the gardens, because it was the first one. And it has a lot to discover there. ^^ There is a lot of water and small lakes with kois and stone bridges, stones in the water which you can use to cross the water, stones with symbols, tea houses and a lot of traditional symbols and patterns. It's just so beautiful!

The Confucius statue in the Chinese Garden
I think he looks best in the sun. ^^ I really like how it looks that he got an enlightenment. *hihi*

taking a break in the sun and lying down on a lounger

The one thing that was really super annoying was, that the battery of my camera died right after I took a break. I felt like crying or something, because I spend so many hours taking photos and wasn't finished at all. There were still three gardens left and a few things in between.
Luckily we live in the 21st century and I got an iPhone. I mean like seriously I would've died without the stupid cam on my phone. ;__;
Because the battery was only on around 50% on my phone I just hoped that it would last as long as I needed it...

cute feral pig statues on my way to the Japanese and Korean Gardens

crossing the water over the stones in the Japanese Garden - 融水苑 (Garden of flowing together Water)

Do not step on the pebbles!!!

I just love the Japanese Garden and it's real water and stone circle water. I just love everything about it.
If you remember I mentioned it  in the post about the Hanami too. ^^

The Korean Garden -  Seoul Garden

There was a couple shooting their wedding photos in the Korean garden. It was so funny to watch them climbing over all the stones, especially the bride with her super long white dress. XD"
But to be honest I think they will have the most beautiful wedding photos ever. *o*

The Balinese Garden - Garden of Harmony
The Balinese Garden is something really special, because it's not a garden outside, it's in a glasshouse. It has a special climate there to keep all the plants and flowers alive. It's super tropical in there and lovely when it's not that hot out side, but on hot days it's just horrible hot and wet in there.

As you can see everything got fogged immediately and the first few minutes I couldn't see clearly at all. With the time it got more clear and when I came to the center, there was water spraying around and the air got more normal and clear again.

It is really beautiful in there and so exotic. It's a whole different thing as the rest of the gardens.

There also were these awesome flowers. I think they look very special and they are purple. ^^ Normally I don't like flowers that much, but these are beautiful.

And this was also the last photo I took because right after that the battery of my phone died. So I was at the other end of the city with no camera and no phone and no one knew when I would come back home.
I didn't know how I should feel about it and just decided to ignore it. Luckily I had finished photographing all the gardens and was on my way back to the gate.

I stopped at the gift shop and bought a few postcards. The ones with the asian gardens and one of an overview of the labyrinth, which is almost at the center of the park.

After leaving the gardens I decided to go into the Eastgate to get me an ice. I just needed one after all day in the sun. My water bottle was already empty and I felt like drying out and super hot. My water ice was the best ever at this moment. XD

I went to the train station to get the SBahn and decided to hop off at Alexanderplatz to get some bubble tea. I just decided that I needed a lot of sugar and because I love bubble tea it was the best to reward me with one. ^^

When I crossed the place it was nearly dark but still warm outside. I hurried to get my bubble tea and looked into a few small shops. But not for long, because it was already late and the shops were nearly closing and I suddenly realized how exhausted I was and that my feet hurt.

I went back to the SBahn and was lucky enough that I got right in time to get the next one. ^^ I arrived home safely and super exhausted and suddenly hungry.

First i called my parents to tell them that everything is fine and that just my battery died, but as expected no one missed me. >.>

I started cooking really late, because I was too exhausted but finally decided on rice with scrambled eggs an fried tofu. *yumyum*

To give this entry a good end I'm going to reflect on the gardens once again:

The gardens are awesome, because they are all very well themed and planed out. Some are bigger some are smaller, but that isn't bad at all. It give's them more of an individual aspect, not that they aren't individual at all. They are just perfect as they are.
What I like most is that you can feel the atmosphere changing when entering the different gardens. It's just so awesome how you always feel, like entering a different world. It really feels right and authentic to be there.

The Chinese Garden might be the biggest but it's not the greatest, because every garden has it own speciality in design and atmosphere.

The Balinese Garden might not look that exclusive at first, as the others, but it is! When you enter it and you got through the sudden change of climate than you can see and feel the tropical and jungley atmosphere.

The Japanese Garden might look boring at first, but if you read the information or ask the staff members and try to understand you will get to know what all the circlet pebbles mean and you will understand the meaning behind the name of the garden. You also will notice the change of feeling and the calming atmosphere.

If you think Renaissance is only French you will learn that it also is Italian and you will feel like some King or Queen wandering around the Italian Garden.

The Oriental Garden just looks like something out of a movie and you will feel the heat burning you. You also might feel like some sheikh will crossing the hall soon.

You can also visit some quotes of the bible and finding your way through them might help you find yourself again when you visit the Christian Garden

When entering the Korean Garden you might feel like you suddenly entered a historical korean drama and have to find your way back into your time.

All these aspects make "The Gardens of the World" to a very special piece of Berlin.
You should definitively visit them when you're in Berlin!
